I watched The Secret last night for the third time in a month and I love it! But after a conversation with my friends on Saturday night I was reminded of the need to watch it with an open mind. If you haven’t seen it or want to purchase it the dvd is available on-line here.
I have done a lot of study of the mind and the power and impact of our thoughts and feelings (on our life), so when I watched it for the first, second and third times I really enjoyed it, however, so many people go in with their arms crossed and with such a pessimistic attitude it is unlikely much (if any) of the teachings are accepted or even considered.
In a previous blog What the bleep do we know I talked about Quantum Physics and the free online documentary titled What the Bleep Do we know!? The ideas of The Secret and Law of Attraction aren’t new it is just a different way of presenting it. The Secret brings together a plethora of Psychologists, Doctors, Authors, Philosophers, Physicians, Metaphysicians and Entrepreneurs to present the Law of Attraction and the power of our thoughts and feelings.
As Bob Proctor said in the dvd “everything that is coming into your life, you are attracting into your life.” If you can think of yourself as a magnet you attract what you think about most, so make it clear in your mind what you want and hold that thought in your mind. The law of attraction will give you what you want and what you focus on. Negative and angry thoughts attract negative and angry circumstances. The same is true when we focus on what we do want with a positive and happy outlook and energy.
What you are thinking today is creating your future. Your thoughts and your feelings create your life. You are the master of your life. You are 100% responsible. I highly recommend watching the DVD and if you want to change your life now below are three tasks – home-play for you to work through.
If you want to change your current circumstances first you must change your thinking, and then have unwavering faith that you can and will have what you really want.

- Become aware of what you are thinking about. What are you predominantly thinking and feeling?
- If you had 3 wishes what would you wish for?
- What are you grateful for? Write a list of 10 things you are grateful for – in the present tense – and add two new things to your list each morning and evening just before you go to bed.
Your life can be and should be phenomenal.
